1. Data We Collect
When you create an account, we store your email address. During app usage, we store the URLs you track, the CSS/XPath selectors you choose, and your threshold and quiet-hours settings. We also collect anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to: deliver the price tracking service, send push notifications when a price changes, respect your quiet-hours settings, manage your account, and fix bugs. Your data is never used for ad profiling or marketing.
3. Infrastructure Partners
Your data is stored encrypted on our infrastructure partner Supabase. Push notifications are delivered via OneSignal. These service providers process your data solely to provide the service and cannot use it for their own purposes. No data is shared with any ad network.
4. Price Scanning Process
Our servers periodically visit the URL you've added and read the value of the element you selected. This process is fully automated and involves no human access. Data from visited pages is only used to check the tracked value and is not stored permanently.
5. Push Notifications
Price-change notifications are sent automatically when the condition you set is met. If you've configured quiet hours, changes that occur during that window are delivered together in the morning. You can turn off notifications at any time from device settings or within the app.
6. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted on Supabase infrastructure. Access controls ensure that each user can only access their own data. While no system can be 100% secure, we conduct regular security reviews to address potential vulnerabilities.
7. Data Retention
Your tracking records and notification history are stored as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days.
8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or by emailing support@getwebtracker.com. After deletion, your tracking list, notification history, and personal information are permanently removed.
9. Children's Privacy
WebTracker is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, that account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.
10. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your data through the app. To request a copy of your data or raise an objection, contact us at support@getwebtracker.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, you will be notified via an in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
